The Yeoman Shield Contour Hand/Crash Rail is a versatile solution for high-traffic areas. This stylish design combines a functional handrail and a durable crash rail into one, offering both support and protection in busy walkways and circulation spaces.
The ergonomically shaped upper handrail provides reliable support, while the lower crash rail section protects against impact from wheelchairs, trolleys, beds, and other wheeled equipment, as well as contact from pedestrians.
Constructed from extruded PVCu, the rail is warm to the touch, easy to clean, and hygienic. The aluminium core and PVCu spacer brackets create a 60mm gap between the rail and wall, ensuring a comfortable, secure grip. Designed for strength and ease of installation, this is a cost-effective solution for busy environments.
The independent top and bottom sections allow for flexible colour combinations, perfect for enhancing wayfinding, meeting DDA requirements, or complementing modern interior designs. Accessories are available in two parts, offering the option for seamless integration or bold contrasts.
