Any public building, such as a prison, experiences a lot of footfall which causes damage and unsightly marking to the walls along corridors, waiting areas, stairs and stair wells.

This impairment to the walls requires continual repair and redecoration which over the years takes up precious time and resources, having an impact on maintenance budgets.

Yeoman Shield were able to offer a permanent solution at HMP Shotts, to eliminate such damage, with their FalmouthEx 2.0mm thick wall protection panels.

Fitted along the walls of the affected areas at 1250mm high, in Regatta, Burgundy, Dusty & Dark Grey colour schemes, the Yeoman Shield protection panels provide a durable, hygienic finish which guards against damage caused by people passing through, wheeled trolleys and the movement of equipment.

Yeoman Shield corner protection angles in matching colours, were also installed to vulnerable wall corners helping to complete the comprehensive protection system.

As requested, by the Prison Service, Yeoman Shield were able to offer an out of hours installation service to allow the work to be undertaken during the night so as to limit disruption.
