Yeoman Shield cures the 'headache' of damaged doors

Yeoman Shield, the UK’s leading manufacturer of architectural surface protection, has been fitted into the pharmaceutical division of Reckitt Benckiser, which produces a range of leading healthcare brands, including Lemsip, Nurofen and Strepsils.
The busy Nottingham-based site employs 600 people on shift work and a combination of heavy pedestrian traffic, pulled/pushed trolleys and small motorised trucks have caused extensive and unsightly damage to the large doors fitted throughout the plant.
As part of an ongoing project throughout the plant, Yeoman Shield 2.0mm 'Falmouth' Door Protection Panels in dark blue have been used to clad the doors. Door Edge Protectors, in the same colour, will reduce future damage and expensive maintenance costs.
Mick Ward, Senior Civil Project Engineer, explained: "To replace all the damaged doors would have been a hugely expensive operation. Fitting Yeoman Shield to the existing doors has proved to be a cost effective and efficient alternative option."
