Yeoman Shield lands £45,000 contract at London Luton Airport
Yeoman Shield, the UK's leading manufacturer of architectural surface protection, has completed a £45,000 contract to supply and install wall and door protection materials for the new terminal at London Luton Airport.
One of the UK's fastest growing airports, London Luton Airport last year celebrated reaching a new record of 9 million passengers per annum.
The authorities at the airport were keen to protect their investment against damage and Yeoman Shield protection systems and Yeoman Door Frame Protection and Panels were fitted in the airport's new retail area. 200mm Protection Rail was also installed in the ‘back of house' corridors, concourse and in the baggage area and arrival lounge of the older terminal, at two heights, to protect the newly decorated area.
Paul Bassindale, Area Sales Manager for Yeoman Shield, said: "Yeoman Shield will not only protect London Luton Airport from damage caused by such a high footfall and the amount of vehicular traffic passing through the terminal (including baggage trolleys), but will also preserve its 'new look' for many years to come."
