Yeoman Shield designs attention grabbing sign for Northern General Hospital
Yeoman Shield, the UK’s leading manufacturer of wall and door protection has completed the installation of the protection and signage to highlight a 'hand washing' station in a ward at the Northern General, a major adult hospital in Sheffield.
With over 40 year’s experience Yeoman Shield continues to produce innovative products which now include "Imagery". Wall and door protection panels can be cut and shaped to create clients own unique designs. Logos and signage can also be inlaid into panels and rails to create effective messages at a height that is particularly ideal for wheelchair users.
The idea for the ‘hand washing’ signage (which also offers protection) came from Pete Trenchard, a building surveyor for the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who carried out the initial design/layout of the hand wash station and Yeoman Shield did the rest.
Pete said: "We are delighted with the results which are attention grabbing and very effective."
Yeoman Shield wall, door and door edge protection has also been extensively fitted as part of a refurbishment of the hospital’s Firth Ward 2.
