Yeoman Shield helps give hospital a clean bill of health
Yeoman Shield Wall Protection Systems have been installed throughout The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford helping to create a hygienic, functional and attractive environment for patients and staff.
Following a deep cleanse operation, walls in 10 of the hospital wards, the intensive care unit, hospital corridors, out patients department and ground floor street were fitted with Protection Rails, Handrails and Corner Protection Angles which will safeguard walls from dents and scratches caused by pedestrian and wheeled traffic.
Sales representative, Russell Smith said; "We carried out a site survey in order to identify the specific areas at risk of damage and the type of damage likely to occur. We were then able to recommend the most beneficial products from our range of over 30 different systems."
Yeoman Shield Protection Rail in a colourful shade of Burgundy was fitted at low and mid level to walls in the 10 bed Apley Ward, helping the NHS private patients' unit to maintain a pristine appearance. Being supplied with a textured finish, the rails effectively conceal impact damage that inevitably occurs from wheeled equipment, trolleys, beds and the back of chairs against walls.
Vulnerable corners have been fitted with resilient colour co-ordinated Corner Protection Angles which contrast with the white walls and create a bright, cheerful environment that enhances the interior décor.
